What kind of Writing Samples to attach?
This is the most important question when it comes to submitting or attaching a writing sample. Professionally and reasonably your writing samples should reflect the qualities required for the post you are applying for. When it comes to academic writing, your writing samples should be from your field of specialization. It could be an article, an essay with a point of view on a topic or any other research based paper written an a required format.(APA,MLA, Harvard et al)
Though the custom writing companies in reference basically look for a good command over language, submitting at least one writing sample in the above format will give you an additional edge.
The other writing samples could be a personal essay, a review or any other genre you have a command at. Keep your writing samples varied and make sure you attach at least three samples.

I read my fellow hubber SimeyC say in one if his hubs about generating income by online freelance writing, "Who wants to be a Millionaire" writing online, the fact is Who can be...Keeping that in question, Freelance writing might not make you a millionaire but it can, if taken seriously and diligently become a source of active income. I say active income, because that's what actually matters, there are many who are of course earning passive incomes as online freelance writers.
Talking in numbers you can be offered anything between 4$ to 20$ per page. (A4 double spaced, approx. 250 words.)
While academia research pays anything between 4$to 16$ per page, rates /page at writers.ph varies from 2$ to 14$. When it comes to new writers, writers.ph is a better option than academia research.com.
What are the money transaction gateways?
Most of these sites pay their writers through Paypal, Wire transfer, E-Gold. They do not have the facility of remote cheque.
Are these sites Legitimate? Do I get paid for the work i do?

I once wrote a 10-page paper for a fellow college student once just so I'd have snow tires to get home for winter break. I did it 4 hours and he got a "B" for it.
